Life without MOVIES . . .

Sometimes I think about how much pleasure i really get from movies.
Something which started like an interesting option for entertainment & passing
time has now turned into a passion . A passion so big that now i can't even
spend a day without watching a movie... I still remember the first time I saw
Devil wears Prada, A walk to remember, Pretty woman, Runaway bride,
Notebook, PS: I love you, Harry Potter, Twilight and so many, many more. I
watch a number of movies , that to over and over again and with great
enjoyment each time i watch. I believe that we all have some pleasant
memories of watching some particularly wonderful movies.

We all know that everyone needs Entertainment and it's arguably deemed as a
necessary psychological need for humans. In the short on-time lives of today,
one hardly finds time for it. Hence in this case movies provide an ample scope
for some much-craved for pleasure & amusement. Some of us take watching
movies as a source of leisure, while for some movies go beyond mere
entertainment & serves their passion as they actually derive true pleasure from
them .

The actual pleasure lies in the fact that the person watching the movie gets so
involved in it that he starts considering himself a part it. The fact is that there
is a real world that we live in, and there is the make-believe world that
filmmakers create. It's the bridging of these two worlds in the movies that
psychologically involves the viewers so  much so that they start seeing
themselves as a part of the ongoing story before their eyes , hence enhancing
their craze & enthusiasm. Just like in my case, when I saw Twilight for the
first time I was so hooked on to the movie that I was actually dying with
enthusiasm to watch the following parts of the series & so I made it a point to
watch New Moon & Eclipse the next day itself. And since then I have been in
love with the Twilight series :)

Life without movies for me is just so unimaginable. It's just like Chuck without
Larry, Harry Potter without his friends, Jurassic Park without Dinosaurs, Edward
without Bella and the list could go on & on. . .
